Sergio Nardoni
Fiorentino, an ancient Tuscan family, Sergio Nardoni de 'Nardi lives and works in Chianti, Sambuca Val di Pesa. Precocious talent, drawing from an early age and painted his first oil painting at the age of seven years in the house of an elementary school teacher, an amateur painter delicate. Later, although he wanted to continue in the family-run small company of his father, he enrolled at the Academy, after a very messy study and practice of many crafts. Loffredo and pupil of Manfred, initially influenced by the climate concept that begins to spread in Italy in the late seventies, but was immediately attracted to other experiences. Meanwhile, the meeting and friendship with Marysia Hull, the widow of the great Felix Hull, places it in the artistic Tuscan Versilia (Treccani, Pharaohs, De Grada). The arts faculty with masters like attending Del Bravo and Mina Gregori complete his thirst for knowledge and his constant reflection on the history of painting. Finally it takes to teach, first in middle school and then in the Florentine headquarters at Rutgers University - The State University of New Jersey. Leaving school too, he devoted himself exclusively to painting. Among the numerous national and international exhibitions remembers "ab antique" in the Sala d'Arme di Palazzo Vecchio in Florence in 1986 and his participation in the exhibition "Contemporary Art in Florence", where he exhibited in the Hall of "Modern Painters of Reality" next to Bueno brothers, Pietro Annigoni Sciltian and always at Fort Belvedere in Florence. In 1996 he set up his own personal Art Expo in New York and in 1998 an exhibition of his work is held in Malta, presented personally by the President of the Republic of Malta. In 2005, the Gallery of Venice Orler organizes the exhibition "Present remote" dedicated to the movies while in 2008 it was the turn of the successful festival of San Felice Circeo dedicated to the hundred years since the birth of the great Anna Magnani inaugurated by Senator for life Giulio Andreotti and reviewed in a lengthy television service by TG 5.
Important is his work as a portraitist. He has created portraits for the great fact of culture and art figures, gathered later in the monographic exhibition "Friends posing" in 1988 and "Dating on canvas" of 2005, while the most important European families has made portraits that will be collected in a forthcoming book entitled "The painter of princes".
Since 2005 Nardoni is the official portraits of the Body of European nobility. His works are in the National Museum of the Bargello in Florence, in the papal collections of the Vatican City and in setting up the Museum of Contemporary Art of Florence. He recently performed an important series of paintings of the apse sull'arcone century Cathedral of San Miniato (PI), while the town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (FI) has made a great mosaic cycle dedicated to the Chianti area, lying on the four sides of a structure pyramid and installed at the center of the town square called "The depth of the surface."
